Convention - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - August 18-22, 2004
Several PNNA members
attended the American Numismatic Association's 113th Anniversary Convention in
Pittsburgh, had a good time, enjoyed the exhibits, participated in important
meetings, and maybe even made some new acquisitions! The convention was
very successful, highlighted by a number of special exhibits as shown below.

Special Exhibits
Left
- du Pont 1866 "No Motto" coins, including the recently recovered 1866 "No
Motto" Dollar.
Left Center - Two specimens of the famous 1804 dollar.
Right Center - The Neil-Carter specimen of the 1794 dollar, now believed
to be the first silver dollar struck by the US Mint.
Right - Exhibit of Carnegie Hero Fund medals.
