{"id":202,"date":"2018-08-12T18:48:44","date_gmt":"2018-08-13T02:48:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pnna.org\/blog\/?p=202"},"modified":"2023-12-04T11:44:53","modified_gmt":"2023-12-04T19:44:53","slug":"pnna-3rd-q-2018-norwester-washington-state-fair-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pnna.org\/wp\/2018\/08\/pnna-3rd-q-2018-norwester-washington-state-fair-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"PNNA 3rd Q 2018 Nor\u2019wester Washington State Fair edition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-subtle-background-background-color has-background\">The <strong>3rd Quarter 2018<\/strong> edition of the PNNA\u2019s publication, <strong><em>The Nor\u2019wester<\/em><\/strong>, is now available online at <a href=\"http:\/\/pnna.org\/news\/pdf\/PNNAnews2018_Q3.pdf\">http:\/\/pnna.org\/news\/pdf\/PNNAnews2018_Q3.pdf<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-subtle-background-background-color has-background\">This is a 16-page special edition with eight color pages, produced for the upcoming Washington State Fair in Puyallup.\u00a0This is the first year that the PNNA has produced a special edition for the Fair, and its issuance is the reason for delaying the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Q edition by one month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-subtle-background-background-color has-background\">Here\u2019s a summary of the contents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-subtle-background-background-color has-background wp-block-list\">\n<li>Welcome to Puyallup message by PNNA Fair Chairman Rick Schulz.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PNNA President\u2019s message by James Reinders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A report on the PNNA 69th Annual Convention, March 16-18, 2018 at the Tukwila Community Center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interesting feature articles:\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cBig Silver in the U.S., Canada \u2013 and the Whole, Wide World,\u201d by Mark Benvenuto.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cCourtesy Autographs by Signers of U.S. Currency,\u201d by Anthony (Tony) Kalt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cSowing the Seed now for a Harvest of Collectors later,\u201d by Thomas (Tom) Tullis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cPNNA Souvenirs and Memorabilia.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A summary of PNNA and ANA news available online.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An event calendar and Washington coin club list (which we previously handed out as a separate sheet at the Fair).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are no advertisements in this issue, which allowed more room for the feature articles!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-subtle-background-background-color has-background\"><em>Free paper copies of this special edition will be available at the Fair.
