PNNA / WCC Fall Coin Shows
Beginning in 2020-21, separate fall shows were scheduled in Seattle (Tukwila) and Portland, with the PNNA sponsoring the Tukwila show and the Willamette Coin Club (WCC) sponsoring the Portland show.
It’s Over! We’ll see you again next year.
This year’s PNNA fall coin show was held October 6-8, 2023, in Tukwila. Most show details were similar to the 2022 show, except that the admission price increased (see below).

18th Annual Fall Coin Show, Tukwila, WA
October 6-8, 2023
PNNA coin shows normally feature a large active bourse, exhibits, numismatic theater and club meetings, and a popular young numismatist (YN) program. However, the 2023 fall show had ANA videos (in place of a live numismatic theater) as noted below.
Location: Tukwila Community Center, 12424 42nd Ave. So., Tukwila, WA. A link to Google Maps is available on the TCC website. The 42nd Ave. S. bridge is one-way traffic away from the community center, so be sure to follow the detour signs when entering from Interurban Ave. S.
Admission/Hours – Public show hours: Friday Noon – 7 PM, Saturday 10 AM – 6 PM, Sunday 10 AM – 4 PM. Admission $5.00 per day, $10.00 for all three days. Children 12 and under are free, as are PNNA life members with photo ID badge. “Early Bird” admission (9 AM Fri/Sat/Sun) is $50.00.
Board Meeting – A PNNA board meeting was scheduled for Saturday as soon as possible after the bourse closes, about 6:15 p.m. PNNA members were invited to attend.
Dealers – 85 local, regional and national numismatic dealer booths. A dealer list and map are posted at each show. See the dealer list for the 2023 fall coin show in Tukwila.

Education/Exhibits – There are outstanding collector exhibits at each PNNA convention/show. The location of the exhibits is in the fitness room across the hall from the bourse entrance, as at most past shows. We also streamed some lectures from ANA webinars in the exhibit room, however, there was not a separate live numismatic theater.
Grading Services – Check the ANACS website for a list of shows ANACS will attend, which included the PNNA fall show. ANACS accepts submissions, but a grader is not present at PNNA shows. Discount codes are available for certain submissions, as advertised in The Nor’wester.
Hotel info – Marriott Courtyard Seattle Sea-Tac Area, Address: 16038 West Valley Highway, Tukwila, WA 98188. The PNNA group rate was available from Thursday, October 5, 2023, to Monday, October 9, 2023. The last day to book was Friday, September 15, 2023. Rates were 129 USD – 139 USD per night.
Literature – Free full-color copies of The Nor’wester were available at the show. A literature table was also set up at the show.
Parking – Plenty of free off-street parking. Located just 10 minutes from SeaTac Airport and 20 minutes from downtown Seattle.
Prizes and Souvenirs – Hourly door prizes. (Prizes are mailed to winners not present.) “Squished” or elongated cents were available as souvenirs, thanks to the PNNA’s popular machine!
Youth Activities – Young Numismatist (YN) treasure hunt was offered on Saturday and Sunday, as part of youth and family activities. See Young Numismatist (YN) program information. There was also a scout (BSA) workshop on Saturday afternoon – see the scouting page.
Tukwila Show Chair – Kevin Charboneau. (See The Nor’wester linked above for the show chair’s welcome message!) Kevin is retiring as chairman after this show. We thank him for his service the past several years.
