The Cushing Catalog Numbering System for PNNA Memorabilia
The Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association was founded in 1940, and issued its first medal at the third convention held in 1946 in Centralia, Washington. Many additional memorabilia items, such as medals and wooden nickels, and now elongated coins, came along over the years. Most of these items commemorate the annual conventions.
The present catalog numbering system for PNNA memorabilia is named in honor of PNNA life member Del Cushing, who assembled an extensive collection of PNNA memorabilia which was later sold to the PNNA. We regret that Del passed away in September 2018. See the president’s message in the 4th Q 2018 issue of The Nor’wester.

The full catalog is currently hosted on the legacy PNNA website at https://pnna.org/catalog/index.html. We plan to move the catalog to the new website, publishing it as a collection of PDF files.
