Information about the PNNA
The Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association (PNNA) is a regional organization for numismatists — persons who study, collect, or deal with coins, paper money, tokens and medals. The PNNA is proud to present pnna.org, our home on the World Wide Web! This site is updated frequently to bring you accurate and up-to-date information about numismatics in the Pacific Northwest. PNNA members are also available to help answer your questions about numismatics. Please don’t hesitate to ask us a question or to contribute information for possible use on this site! The PNNA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation registered in the State of Oregon.
What is our charter?
Per Article II of the PNNA Constitution and Bylaws, “The objects and purposes of this association are to promote, extend, and protect the interests of numismatists and numismatic activities throughout the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories, and Alaska) and to foster and encourage the study of numismatics in all its forms.”
What do we do?
In addition to maintaining this web site, the PNNA publishes a quarterly newsletter, holds two annual conventions, awards scholarships, promotes numismatics at the Washington State Fair each September, and conducts other programs, activities and awards such as National Coin Week awards for clubs.
